Also known as Oldham couplings, these couplings have a slotted disc that allows hubs to slide independently, which is especially good for applications with parallel shaft misalignment. They also allow zero backlash (no play) and never need lubrication. To create a complete coupling, order two coupling hubs and one disc from the same line in the table.
SetScrew Couplings—Fasten to your shafts with one or two set screws, which bite into the shafts for a tight hold.
Clamp–On Couplings—Fasten onto your shafts for superior holding power without damaging them. Tighten the two socket-head cap screws to secure.
Coupling hubs are made of lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum.
Acetal discs stand up to high twisting forces. Temperature range is -10° to 150° F.
Nylon discs have excellent vibration and shock absorption. Temperature range is -10° to 130° F.
