Founded in 1982, Aero-Electric Connector, Inc. aims to be a vertically integrated manufacturer of standard, miniature, and sub-miniature general-purpose circular connectors. The company produces MIL-DTL-38999 Series I, II & III, MIL-DTL-5015 Rear Release, MIL-DTL-83723 Series III, MIL-DTL-26482 Series 2, and MIL-DTL-26500 mil-spec connectors. Aero-Electric is equipped for a wide range of insert layouts within these families and uses state-of-the-art double spindle, double turret CNC machines. The company also plates, molds rubber and plastic components, and assembles in-house, offering flexibility, reduced costs, and faster cycle times.
In February 2013, Conesys completed the acquisition of ATI-Interco, which joined the Conesys group of companies, including Aero-Electric Connector, Aero Industrial Products, EMP Connectors, J-Tech, Conesys Europe, Conesys Mexico, and Conesys Asia. Based in Paris, France, ATI-Interco designs, develops, manufactures, and sells connectivity solutions, including PCB connectors, application-specific connectors, standard and custom backshells, RF connector products, filter connector products, and a wide range of cabling components and accessories for circular and rectangular connectors.
To support the Conesys companies and their customers, in November 2007, Conesys acquired an additional 120,000 sqft facility in Torrance, California, near its Aero-Electric Connector facilities. This facility is dedicated to supporting its multi-million dollar investment in additional capital resources.
With roots dating back to 1983, Conesys is an ISO 9001 and AS9100-certified, vertically integrated provider of circular and rectangular connectors, including filter and transient protection connectors, mil-spec circular connectors, fiber optic termini, copper and fiber interconnect systems, specialty cable assemblies, and application-specific connectors.
