Hammond Manufacturing Co. is a manufacturer of a wide range of standard electronic enclosures and transformers, since 1917. The Electronics Group manufactures general purpose, hand-held and instrument enclosures in plastic (either economical styrene or high impact, flame retardant ABS), aluminum, die-cast aluminum and steel. A complete line of chassis and accessories is also offered.

During the 1950s and 1960s, the rising demand for electrical products presented several chances for new products and diversification. Hammond quickly became a significant provider of transformers, racks, cabinets, and enclosures for the electrical and electronic industries. Products include: Electrical Enclosures, Small Enclosures, Rock Mounting Solutions, Power Distribution, Transformers and Classic Audio Transformers.

The Hammond Manufacturing brand of over 3000 unique racks, rack cabinets, and accessories has been honed over the course of 85 years of rack mounting experience. Designed and manufactured in North America, Hammond Manufacturing’s rack mounting solutions include open frame racks, wall mount racks and cabinets, server racks and cabinets, desktop racks and cabinets, rack accessories, and more. These solutions are a perfect fit for markets including security, audio/visual, data center, voice and data, and test and measurement. Hammond’s selection of rack accessories includes shelves, rack panels, mounting hardware, cable management solutions, mounting rails, angle supports, cooling equipment, doors, handles and locks, and much more.

In the early years, the Hammond family built a name for themselves building tube radio sets, battery chargers and other related products. Through the 20th century, the Hammond brand was known for its high quality, innovation and craftsmanship.

Today, Hammond is comprised of three main business units: The electronic group designs, manufactures and markets a wide range of enclosures, low-voltage transformers and power distribution products. The industrial enclosure group designs, manufactures and markets a wide range of enclosures and climate control products. The rack mounting solutions group designs, manufactures and markets a wide range of racks, cabinets and accessories for telecom, data center, security and audio/visual applications.
