Description
The CAMTEC ESB 101-series are low-cost inrush current limiter of the second generation. The delimiters are for 115/230 VAC 16A networks. The maximum permissible power frequency is 16 1/3Hz – 440 Hz. The ESB 101-limiter between the mains switch/protection and consumer. The ESB-type series is designed for use on inductive and capacitive loads. At the moment of switching used by the connected consumers caused inrush current for the defined time sound is limited. It does not matter how high the actual start-up current. The limitation is always strictly. After the expiry of the time, the current limitation in the ESB 101 can be avoided. The consumer is now connected directly to the mains supply. The power can be loaded as usual with short-term peak currents (e.g. motors, pumps). There is a power failure longer than the defined time, the ESB recognizes this 101. Returns the power back, the inrush current limit again. The device is internal temperature monitoring. In the event of a fault, the device switches off, so that a permanent overheating or a fire effectively is suppressed.
