Swivel-Pad Thumb Screws for Angled Surfaces
Pads swivel in all directions for maximum contact with angled surfaces. They stop rotating when they touch the workpiece to reduce marring. Screws are made from steel with a black-oxide finish and are fully threaded. Length is measured from under the head.
Screws with pad for limited clearance have a pad that can pass through tapped holes. The removable pad is left-hand threaded, so it won’t fall off when you tighten the screw.
Screws with pad for gripping strength provide the most holding power. To use, thread the screw through the hole, then snap the pad on from the other side. A retaining spring holds the pad in place. The pad swivels 10degree. Optional extra-large steel pad offers more gripping strength. Optional plastic pad is soft, nonmarring, and made of acetal.
