The ACS713ELCTR-30A-T is a fully integrated Hall effect-based linear current sensor IC that provides an affordable and precise solution. The housing enables easy implementation by the user. The device includes a precise, linear, low offset Hall sensor circuit with a copper trace close to the chip surface. When current flows through this copper conductor, a magnetic field is generated which is detected by the integrated Hall IC and converted into a proportional voltage. The precision was optimized by the proximity of the magnetic signal to the Hall transducer. The chopper-stabilized BiCMOS Hall IC with low offset outputs a precisely proportional voltage. The precision of the IC is programmed at the end of the manufacturing process.
