HLMP-1640 Agilent / Avago Standard LEDs – Through Hole Green Diffused 565nm 1.6mcd 2-Pin T-1 (3mm)
The HLMP-1600, HLMP-1601, HLMP-1620, HLMP-1621, HLMP-1640 and HLMP-1641 series, from Avago Technologies, are integrated resistor LED lamps. This family of LEDs are in T-1 (3mm) standard packages and come in 5 volt and 12 volt types. A diffused lamp makes this family of LEDs offer a wide off-axis viewing angle. The HLMP-1600/1601/1620/1621/1640/1641 series of LEDs contain an integral current limiting resistor which enables the lamps to be driven from a 5/12V source without the need for an external current limiter.
This series of LEDs are made using GaAsP on a GaAs substrate, with the high efficiency red and yellow LEDs made from GaAsP on a GaP substrate. The green LEDs use GaP on GaP substrate.
