GUCE51 IOGEAR USB Ethernet Extender CAT5/CAT6 The GUCE51 comprises two units, local and Remote. These units are interconnected with Cat5, Cat5e, or Cat6 cabling. Now you can extend peripherals to locations up to 198 feet away.
The Iogear USB Ethernet Extender allows you to extend the distance between a USB device and connected computer using standard Cat5, Cat5e or Cat6 RJ-45 Ethernet cable. The kit works without any special drivers and supports cable runs of up to 198′ (60 m) in length. It is an excellent option for anyone who would like to place a USB device, such as webcam, a long distance away from the connected computer.
