The UTC LR18230 series of high performance ultra-low dropoutlinear regulators operates from 2.5V to 6V input supply andprovides ultra-low dropout voltage, high output current with lowground current. These ultra-low dropout linear regulators respondfast to step changes in load which makes them suitable for lowvoltage micro-processor applications. The UTC LR18230 isCMOS-based positive voltage and a very low dropout regulator ICwhich allows low quiescent current operation independent of outputload current. This CMOS process also allows the UTC LR18230 tooperate under extremely low dropout conditions.
