GPS is the most interesting part for makers. This is a high precision GPS module that includes a powerful NEO-M8N module from u-blox.
The NEO-M8N module is based on the u-blox M8 GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, SBAS, and Galileo-ready1) engine that provides high sensitivity and minimal acquisition times while maintaining low system power.
The NEO-M8 is optimized for cost-sensitive applications, while NEO-M8N/M8Q provides the best performance and easier RF integration.
The NEO-M8 modules can receive and process the GLONASS satellite system as an alternative to the US-based Global Positioning System (GPS). The NEO-M8N offers high performance also at low power consumption levels.
The u-blox NEO-M8 modules can also benefit from the u-blox AssistNow assistance service.
The DDC (I2C compliant) interface provides connectivity and enables synergies with most u-blox cellular modules. For RF optimization the NEO-M8N/Q features an additional front-end LNA for easier antenna integration and a front-end SAW filter for increased jamming immunity.
JMCU GPS Module-NEO-M8N includes high precision Integrated TTL to USB, plug and play to show your coordinates in Google Earth, send PC software plus Google Earth software. This module featured signal, data communication and the computer running LED indicator.
