NT03 12391 AMETHERM THERMISTOR Zero-Power Resistance @ 25°C Resistance @ 0°C/ Resistance @ 50°C Resistance @ 25°C/ Resistance @ 125°C Beta Temp Coefficient of Resistance @ 25°C Operating Temperature Range Maximum Permissible Power Dissipation Constant Thermal Time Constant 3.5mW/°C 10 seconds
Thermistors, like RTDs, are thermally sensitive semiconductors whose resistance varies with temperature. Thermistors are manufactured from metal oxide semiconductor material encapsulated in a glass or epoxy bead. Also, thermistors typically have much higher nominal resistance values than RTDs (anywhere from 2,000 to 10,000 ?) and can be used for lower currents.
