RFMD – RF MD RF3110 Triple-band Gsm/Dcs/Pcs Power Amp Module
RFMD’s PowerStar solutions feature integrated power control circuitry, eliminating the need for directional couplers, detector diodes, power control ASICs and other power control circuitry, while providing handset manufacturers the key benefits of reduced component count, improved production yield, simplified phone calibration and faster time-to-market. The RF3110 is one of multiple PowerStar solutions RFMD is currently shipping in high volume into GSM, GPRS and EDGE handsets in the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific markets.
The RF3110 is manufactured using GaAs HBT for power amplification and silicon CMOS for the integrated power control circuitry. The product is packaged in a 10 x 10 mm leadless chip carrier and is available now from RFMD.
RFMD’s PowerStar PA modules with integrated power control eliminate the need for directional couplers, detector diodes, power control ASICs and other power control circuitry. RFMD’s PowerStar product family includes the first-generation triple-band RF3110, the second-generation quad-band RF3133 and quad-band RF3140 and the third-generation quad-band RF3146, which is designed using RFMD’s patent-pending Lead Frame Module packaging technology.
