Description
Use push-in rivets for fastening wood, metal and plastic panels that are only accessible from one side. Push-in rivets are made of plastic or nylon and have a variety of head shapes and shank styles.
The most popular of any type of rivet, Essentra’s snap rivets are the easiest to install of all the plastic/nylon rivets. By simply pushing the head in, the grommet expands to lock into a secure place. Removing is also easy by pulling on the head to release it. Many different lengths, hole diameters, and colors are available.

Push-In Rivets – Snap
Essentra Components’ most popular and easiest to install plastic rivets! Simply push the head in and the grommet expands to hold it in place. Removable by pulling head. Available in both black and white colours. UL94 V-2 or UL94 V-0 material and also in Heat Stabilized material.
Push-In Rivets – Snap In Flush Top
Available in 14 sizes. Quickly installed by hand. Grommet expands as pin is inserted providing a tight fit. Suited for any application requiring a front-mount rivet.

Pre-Installed pin for easy finger pressure installation. Can be mounted in a Round or Square hole. Use square hole mounting for anti-rotaion applications. UL94 V-2 rated Nylon.

Push-In Rivets – Tough Rivet
These rivets are a one-piece design with a pre-driven pin. Many styles avaiable for a variety of hole sizes and panel thicknesses. Removable by pulling out the pin.
Push-In Rivets – Removable
Easily snapped in by hand. Removable by pulling on the side taps of the pin. Allow blind side fixing. Pin and Grommet are provided separately. Can be used in a round or square hole. A square hole prevents rotation.
Push-In Rivets – Folding Leg
Pushing the pin into the rivet body causes the legs to expand and grip the material. The legs fold out to .73 inches wide. Once installed, the rivet cannot be removed from the outside of the box. Good for use with cardboard or other porous material. Available in black and natural colors.

These fir tree or barbed rivets have a ribbed design that ensures a fast and easy installation while securely holding into various materials such as wood, metal, foam, rubber and plastic. When pushed into a hole, the flexible ribs deflect then spring back to lock securely in place. Available in over 100 sizes and styles for different hole diameters and panel thicknesses.
Push-In Rivets – Drive Fasteners

Push-In Rivets – Heat Sink
Fasten a heat sink to a processor chip on a PCB. They have an integrated spring that provides continuous pressure to the heat sink until the thermal adhesive cures. The HSR-2 has a cross molded in allowing it to be installed by using a phillips head screwdriver.
