The STN93003 is a -400V High Voltage Fast Switching PNP Power Transistor manufactured using high voltage Multiepitaxial planar technology for high switching speeds and high voltage capability. It uses a cellular emitter structure with planar edge termination to enhance switching speeds while maintaining the wide RBSOA. It is expressly designed for a new solution to be used in compact fluorescent lamps, where it is coupled with the STN83003. Fast switching times and very low saturation voltage resulting in reduced switching and conduction losses.
