Description
Avago Technologies Versatile Link POF DC-50MBd Fiber Optic Transmitters each use a 650nm LED source with integrated optics and driver IC for efficient coupling into 1mm Plastic Optical Fiber (POF). The AFBR-2624Z/2529Z Receivers each consist of an IC with an integrated photodiode to produce a logic compatible output. The transmitter input and receiver output are compatible with TTL logic families. These transmitters and receivers operate any type of signal from DC up to 50MBd at distances up to 50 meters with 1mm POF.
The Versatile Link Plastic Optical Fiber product family offers infinite voltage isolation and EMI immunity performance that far exceeds what can be achieved with traditional copper cable standards. The new Versatile Link products from Avago deliver a durable low cost solution while also providing increased performance and easier design solutions. Versatile Link components can be interlocked (N-plexed together) to minimize space and to provide dual connections with the duplex connectors. Various simplex and duplex connectors, as well as POF cables are available for Versatile Link components.
