Description
The input to the Optional Voltage Module should be restricted to 12 to 24 volts AC or DC. It is connected to the two red input leads to the module. The module input polarity for DC voltages doesn’t matter.
To install the Optional Voltage Module in your Alert
Snap the module into the battery retainer clip.
Snap battery clips on your Alert on to the clips of the Optional Voltage Module.
Affix the provided double-sided tape to the Alert in approximately the position shown and then affix the battery clips to the tape. In the case of the model SS, there will be only one battery clip to connect. Make sure the extra clip is firmly attached to the Alert’s shell by means of the double-sided tape.
