Samtec provides both shielded and unshielded solutions for signal and data transmission, allowing for flexible PCB orientations in all dimensions. They offer different designs, stack heights, and numbers of positions in pitches ranging from 0.635mm to 2.54mm, supporting configurations such as mezzanine, coplanar connections, and mother-daughter cards.
Samtec Flexible Stacking Board-to-Board Connectors and Strips
Samtec leads the industry in the variety of board stacking interconnects, offering extensive design flexibility to address nearly any design challenge. Their flexible stacking connectors are available in multiple orientations, including low profile, elevated, right-angle, and pass-through, with pitches ranging from 0.80mm to 5.08mm, suitable for various applications.
They offer header and socket systems in various pitch, density, stack height, and orientation options, including standard or modified configurations. IDC cable assemblies feature high-reliability contacts with various pitch options, as well as socket and plug terminations, in low-profile and slim body designs.
Samtec Micro Rugged Board-to-Board Connectors and Systems
Samtec’s Tiger Eye™ contact system is their most rugged, rated for over 1,000 mating cycles. It features multiple points of contact for high reliability in board-to-board, discrete wire, and IDC cable assemblies, with numerous ruggedizing options.
Mini Mate® and Power Mate® systems offer up to 10.3 Amps per individually shrouded contact for board-to-board and discrete wire applications. For even higher power requirements, the mPOWER® system supports up to 18 Amps per blade with a 2.00mm pitch, providing flexibility for board-to-board, cable-to-board, and cable-to-cable applications.
Razor Beam™ hermaphroditic connectors deliver 4-6 times greater mating/unmating forces compared to typical micro pitch connectors. Floating connectors provide 0.50mm contact float in the X and Y axes to compensate for misalignment. One-piece interfaces are designed for high-shock and vibration applications with robust mechanical hold-downs. Tiger Eye™ high-cycle, high-reliability connector systems are available in 0.80mm, 1.27mm, and 2.00mm pitches with various ruggedizing options.
