Amtek’s Modular Jacks feature single and multi-port solutions widely utilized in Telecom, Data, Networking, and Home Entertainment markets. These products boast a simple, flexible, and low-profile design, ideal for LAN applications, particularly Network Interface Cards. The Cat 3 Modular Jacks support 16Mbps signal transmission for devices such as phones, modems, and POS terminals, while the Cat 5 Modular Jacks support 100Mbps signals for switches, routers, and hubs. Amtek offers a comprehensive range of modular, copper RJ45 jacks engineered for superior mechanical and signal connectivity performance. These jacks are easy to deploy, available in various colors, and compatible with both round and flat-oval cables.

Designed for secure and reliable input/output connections, many of Amtek’s modular jacks and plugs feature a unique locking system that prevents mis-mating and accidental unplugging due to shock and vibration. Amtek’s shielded and unshielded RJ connectors are compact, one-piece constructions with preloaded contacts, providing space-saving, quick-to-install solutions that enhance design flexibility. The standard RJ45 Modular Jack Connector is available in multiple configurations of positions and contacts: 8P8C, 10P8C, and 10P10C. Shielded & Unshielded Options: Shielding provides mechanical protection and more effective grounding for the modular jack.
